What Naks does
Naks (legal entity Chixl Eesti OÜ, headquartered in Tallinn, Estonia) is a private event-photo rental company that rents photo booths, mirror booths, 360-degree video booths, Glambot robotic arms, AI-powered photo devices, and complementary party accessories to event organizers and corporate customers across Estonia. The company was founded around 2018 after the founders visited a major photo booth exhibition in Las Vegas, and rebranded from Chixl to Naks in 2023.
The core product line is built on custom in-house hardware and software: professional Canon camera systems, studio flash lighting, 21.5-inch FullHD IPS touchscreens, aluminum booth housings, and dye-sublimation printers capable of producing prints in approximately 12 seconds. The 2023 product expansion added an AI Fotoboks that applies generative themes (superhero, cyberpunk, fantasy) and an AI Kunstikäsi robotic arm that renders real-time AI-drawn portraits. Supporting inventory includes over 30 fabric backdrops plus living sequin backdrops, balloon bouquets, and party props.
Naks generates revenue through quote-based event rentals (setup and breakdown included) and a smaller e-commerce channel for party accessories, with Montonio Finance OÜ processing payments. Customers include both individual weddings/birthday parties and enterprise accounts such as Bolt, Wise, PwC, Hilton, Tallink, TalTech, and the Tallinn City Government. The company has completed more than 300 events over 5+ years in operation.
