Descriptiontext

Oriole Resources PLC is an AIM-listed mineral exploration company (ticker ORR) headquartered in London and founded in 2004, focused on gold exploration in Africa. The company holds a portfolio of three principal gold projects: the Mbe project in Cameroon, which carries a JORC Inferred Mineral Resource of 870,000 ounces of gold across the MB01-N and MB01-S targets; the Bibemi project in Cameroon; and the Senala project in Senegal. Its core technology is conventional mineral exploration and diamond drilling, with over 2,000 metres drilled across ten holes at Mbe and 285 gold-bearing intersections identified, including bonanza-grade results up to 119.10 g/t gold.

The company's business model is partner-funded exploration rather than commercial production. Oriole enters earn-in and joint venture agreements with mining counterparties who fund drilling and development costs in exchange for project equity. BCM International Limited has earned a 50% interest in both the Mbe and Bibemi projects, while AGEM — a subsidiary of Managem Group — has finalised approximately 59% beneficial interest in the Senala project in Senegal. Oriole does not generate product revenue at present; its investor base is reached through AIM-listing media coverage and online investor presentations, and its near-term value catalyst is publication of a maiden JORC Mineral Resource at Mbe.

As a pre-revenue exploration entity, Oriole's economics are driven by exploration outcomes, partner-funded development, and equity capital markets rather than recurring revenue. The company had a small equity raise of approximately $742,713 in April 2023, and its market valuation re-rated sharply (share price +135% to 0.47p) in August 2025 following bonanza-grade drill results. No headcount, revenue, or production figures are disclosed, and Oriole has not yet defined a path to commercial mining output.
