Descriptiontext

Trinity United Church of Christ is a non-profit religious organization founded in 1961 and headquartered at 400 West 95th Street, Chicago, Illinois. Its stated mission is to serve African Americans with a distinctly Black worship experience, operating under the motto "Unashamedly Black and Unapologetically Christian" and grounded in the 1981 Black Value System. The congregation spans the life-stage spectrum, with primary programming targeting African American adults, youth and children, active seniors (55+), and student members pursuing higher education.

The organization's core products are three weekly Sunday worship services (7:30 a.m., 11:00 a.m., and 6:00 p.m.) delivered both in-person and via a dedicated live streaming platform (trinityunitedchurchofchrist.online.church), plus The Center for Biblical Studies, a 46-year scholarship program, the annual MAAFA commemoration, and over 70 active ministries organized across acculturation, arts, children, family, health and wellness, liberation and outreach, men's, praise and worship, teens, and women's categories. Supporting technology includes digital giving via SecureGive (mobile, online, and text-to-give at 855-781-8384), Access ACS/TrinityChicagoNet for scheduled offerings, and ACH/First Fruits direct deposit. The organization also operates four wholly-owned subsidiary corporations: Imani Village (housing and community development), The Endeleo Institute (educational and community programs), Trinity Childcare Center, and Trinity Senior Apartments.

Trinity UCC's revenue model relies on tithes (10% of income as Biblical standard), offerings, planned giving through the Planter's Society endowment, and programmatic revenue from its subsidiaries (childcare fees, senior housing rents, community development activities). Distribution is multi-channel: in-person at the Chicago headquarters, global via live streaming, retail through the Akiba Bookstore (physical and online via afriwarebooks.com), and digital marketing across Facebook (106,911+ page likes), YouTube, Twitter, and Instagram. Pricing is effectively zero for worship services and ministry participation, with revenue captured through voluntary donations and subsidiary fees.
