Atha Yoga Sadhana

What Atha Yoga Sadhana does

Atha Yoga Sadhana is a Yoga Alliance USA-registered yoga teacher training school operating residential programs in Rishikesh, India and Bali, Indonesia, with a small online YTTC extension. Its core products are certified YTTC programs at 100, 200, 300, and 500 hours, taught in batches of 15-20 students and covering Ashtanga Vinyasa, classical Hatha, Iyengar, pranayama, meditation, alignment, and yoga philosophy. Specialized offerings include a 200+50-hour Aerial Yoga course, a 7-day Sound Healing teacher training, and shorter retreats (4 to 11 days) that combine yoga, sound healing, Ayurvedic massage, and excursions.

The business is monetized through one-time course fees ranging from approximately $300 (online 200-hour YTTC) to $1,400 (residential 200-hour YTTC in Rishikesh), with retreats priced between $349 and $880 depending on length and room type. All-inclusive pricing covers accommodation, vegetarian meals, materials, and weekend excursions; a 25% advance deposit (plus payment-processor fee) secures enrollment, with a strict no-refund policy. Distribution is direct-to-consumer via the school's own website with PayPal and Razorpay, supported by social media (Instagram, YouTube), SEO, a blog, and student testimonials driving referrals.

The entity is registered as a sole proprietorship under MAYANK JUYAL in Uttarakhand, India, with no disclosed external funding and no publicly reported revenue, headcount, or founding year. Lead instructors hold Master's degrees in Yogic Science from Uttarakhand Sanskrit University and Haridwar Sanskrit University, and bring multi-country teaching experience; the school positions itself around traditional Himalayan teachings, small-batch quality, and an all-inclusive residential experience rather than technology-driven differentiation.
