What Removal specialist does
Umzugspezialist GmbH is a privately held Swiss moving company headquartered in Regensdorf, Canton of Zürich, founded in 2006 by two industry veterans and led by Managing Director (Geschäftsführer) Eduino Vieira. It operates a single-location, founder-led model serving private individuals and commercial clients across the Zürich metropolitan area, broader Switzerland, and selectively into Europe. The business does not have external investors, parent entities, or documented M&A history.
The company runs a full-service moving platform built on two core services — Privatumzug (private relocation) and Firmenumzug (business/office relocation) — and monetizes a modular set of add-on services including packing and unpacking, storage with insurance, move-in/move-out cleaning, waste disposal and apartment clearance, and specialized transport for pianos and furniture. It also operates the Zügelshop, an e-commerce storefront selling and renting moving supplies (boxes, bubble wrap, tape, mattress covers) with both purchase and rental pricing.
Revenue mechanics are predominantly transactional: quote-based one-time engagements with free on-site inspections, supplemented by unit-priced retail in the Zügelshop and a recurring storage subscription. Go-to-market is sales-led and direct, combining a website quote-request form, a calendar-based inspection booking system, phone sales, and light organic social presence on Instagram and Facebook. Industry positioning is reinforced by alignment with the Swiss Movers Association (SMA) terms (AGB/ALB). Technology footprint is minimal beyond standard web tooling; no AI, API, or proprietary software products are evidenced.
