What Easytow Boat Trailers does
Easytow Boat Trailers Pty Ltd is an Australian proprietary limited company founded in 1965 and headquartered in Heathcote, Victoria, that designs and manufactures custom-built boat trailers. The company serves two primary product lines: Fish & Sports Boat Trailers (hull sizes from 4.4m tinnies up to 8.0m vessels) and Ski & Wake Boat Trailers (SW-series models ranging from SW1500S to SW3500T), with sub-lines including Alloy Trailers and C-Channel Trailers. Each trailer is CAD-designed using precise hull measurements, with multiple hull-support series (P.E., S, R, RR) addressing different hull compositions (fiberglass, aluminium) and launching conditions. Differentiated product engineering features include a Drive-on Guidance System on Alloy Trailers and weight savings exceeding 20% in the 3.5T towing category.
The business operates across three revenue streams: custom trailer manufacturing (quote-based, built-to-order), an online parts e-commerce store at shop.easytow.com.au selling components from third-party brands (Fulton, AL-KO, Knott, NSK, Dexter) at unit prices from AUD 0.50 to AUD 595, and trailer repair services. Go-to-market combines direct-to-consumer custom orders (phone/email) with a boat dealer channel that bundles Easytow trailers with new boat sales. Customer segments center on Australian recreational boat owners (ski/wake, fish/sports) with a secondary commercial fishing segment. Geographic reach is domestic-only with no disclosed international footprint, and the company shows no external institutional investment, parent entity, or subsidiary structure.
