What Animal Reiki Source does
Animal Reiki Source is a privately-held, founder-led online education company based in Sonoma County, California, that teaches the proprietary Let Animals Lead® (LAL®) Method of Animal Reiki through a tiered certification curriculum and a recurring-revenue practitioner community. Founded by Kathleen Prasad — a recognized pioneer in Animal Reiki with 28+ years of practice and 10,000+ documented hours of animal sessions — the company delivers Level 1 ($439 self-paced), Level 2 ($599 live), Level 3 ($799 live), and Teacher Training certifications to students worldwide, primarily over Zoom and the company's website, with occasional in-person Sanctuary Immersions held at Charlie's Acres Farm Sanctuary. The underlying "technology" is a codified, trademarked methodology — built on the 6 Pillars of LAL®, a Practitioner Code of Ethics, and adapted Japanese Reiki practices (Shoden, Chuden, Shinpiden) — that prioritizes animal consent and agency over traditional hands-on energy work. Course content is hosted on a Wix storefront and the Mighty Networks community platform.
