Permaculture Artisans is a Sebastopol, California-based ecological landscape design-build firm founded in 2005 by Erik Ohlsen. The firm designs, installs, and maintains regenerative landscapes for two primary customer segments: residential homeowners and farms/ranches across Sonoma County and Marin County. Its service portfolio spans landscape design, landscape installation, and regenerative maintenance, with specialized offerings in food forest landscaping, low-water/native plantings, ecological restoration, regenerative agriculture, fire-smart landscaping, rain gardens and swales, rainwater harvesting, greywater systems, stonework and masonry, urbanite concrete reuse, permeable paving, and fencing.
