Party People Rental

What Party People Rental does

Party People Rental Company, Inc. is a privately held event rental business founded in 2016 and headquartered at 440 Ogden Avenue, Downers Grove, Illinois. The company rents party equipment — primarily tents, tables, chairs, linens, coolers, side walls, and patio heaters — to individual consumers, families, and small-to-mid-sized organizations hosting private and corporate events in the Chicago western suburbs (Downers Grove, Oak Brook, Lisle, Westmont, Woodridge, and Darien). A core differentiator is full-service execution: the company delivers, sets up, and takes down all equipment, with the staff additionally cooking and serving when catering packages are bundled in through its catering partner Al's Pizza and Catering, which operates out of the same address.

The underlying technology stack is modest: a standard WordPress-style website (partypeoplerental.com) with a contact form, a downloadable PDF rental contract, product gallery, testimonials, and a separate Facebook page. There is no native mobile app, no API, no proprietary software, and no AI/ML components disclosed. Order intake runs primarily through phone (630-964-6733), email, and the website contact form. Pricing is event-based and quoted on request, with standard day rates, optional pickup/return flexibility at no extra charge, and weekly/monthly rates quoted separately. Delivery, setup, and takedown are billed based on time and distance, and a security deposit via credit card is required to confirm reservations.

The business model is a direct-to-consumer local services operation. The primary customer segment is individual event hosts planning personal celebrations (birthdays, graduations, weddings, BBQs, social gatherings), with a secondary segment of corporate clients hosting employee events and outings. Revenue is generated from equipment rental (one-time per-event fees), delivery and setup services, and indirect catering commissions through Al's Pizza and Catering. The company has no disclosed outside funding, no parent company, no subsidiaries, and no M&A activity; it operates as an independent local business with an 11–50 employee range that scales seasonally.
