Party Tent and Bounce House Rentals Co.

What Party Tent and Bounce House Rentals Co. does

Party Tent and Bounce House Rentals Co., legally operated as Party Patrol Rentals, LLC (also doing business as JMS Tents), is a privately held party and event equipment rental company headquartered in South Hadley, Massachusetts. The company rents a broad portfolio of inflatable and event infrastructure including 20+ themed bounce houses, combo bounce houses (5-in-1 through 7-in-1 configurations), water slides, obstacle courses up to 80 feet, jousting arenas, dunk tanks, frame and wedding tents, dance floors, stages, linens, movie screens (12' backyard and 26' commercial drive-in), photo booths, sound/audio equipment, concession machines, and tables and chairs. The technical foundation is purely physical assets — there is no software platform, no API, no proprietary technology, and no AI capability. Equipment requires standard electrical power within 100 feet and water hookup for certain items.

The business operates on a direct-to-consumer short-term rental model, with rentals typically priced between $149 and $349 per day, plus delivery/setup fees. Customers pay a non-refundable 25-50% deposit at booking, with extra-day rentals available at half price. Three physical offices in South Hadley MA, West Springfield MA, and Enfield CT serve the Western Massachusetts and Northern Connecticut market. Distribution is hybrid: full delivery and professional setup, or discounted customer pick-up for select items.

The company's customer base spans weddings and bridal events, family and children's birthday parties, and schools/churches/nonprofits (with dedicated discounts). Additional revenue comes from cleaning fees, late return fees, pavement setup fees, and re-rolling fees. Marketing channels include local SEO, a WeddingWire directory listing, and a Twitter presence (@partypatrolMA). The company is founder/family-owned with 1-10 employees, no institutional investment, no funding rounds, and no M&A activity.
