Nepal Yoga Home

What Nepal Yoga Home does

Nepal Yoga Home is a private residential yoga school headquartered in the Nagarjuna jungle area near Kathmandu, Nepal. Founded in 2005 by Dr. Prakash Acharya (also referred to as Ananda Prakash), it operates as both a yoga retreat and a certified teacher training center. Its core offerings include Yoga Teacher Training Certification (YTTC) programs of 100 to 500 hours, multi-day yoga retreats, Ayurveda and Panchakarma courses, meditation training, online yoga courses, at-home yoga services, and corporate wellness programs. The school holds Yoga Alliance International certification, an industry credential that supports recognition of its teacher training graduates internationally.

The business serves a globally distributed individual customer base, with claimed coverage of trainees from more than 80 countries and a cumulative enrollment exceeding 10,000 students. Operationally, the school runs on a team of 40+ yoga instructors and support staff and delivers its programs in a residential format at the Kathmandu campus. Revenue mechanics rely on per-customer transactional pricing rather than subscriptions, with programs typically requiring a 25% deposit at booking and the balance paid on arrival; ancillary offerings such as soul healing sessions are priced at $10 per 45 minutes.

The company has progressively broadened its product surface beyond pure teacher training into adjacent traditional wellness verticals and has extended distribution via online courses and corporate wellness engagements. It does not appear to operate as a venture-backed or high-growth technology business; rather, it functions as an asset-light services and training brand competing in the international yoga teacher training and wellness tourism segment.
