What Team 303 RAMP does
Team 303 RAMP is a privately held, for-profit event company based in Bridgewater, New Jersey, that operates in the niche of robotics competitions and live stream events. Per the firmographic record, the company has a workforce reported in the 1,001–5,000 employee range, which is notable relative to its specialized event focus and may indicate a broader event-production, sponsorship, or community-operations footprint than the niche description alone implies. The company operates under the "303gametime" doing-business-as name and maintains an active web presence at 303gametime.org.
The primary business proposition, as supplied, is staging and broadcasting robotics competitions and associated live stream event programming. No details on pricing, revenue mechanics, customer segments, sponsors, partners, event roster, geographic coverage, or technology stack are provided in the input data. The only directly attributable source content from the company website is a verification/loading page ("One moment, please...") that yields no substantive company information, leaving legal entity details, founding date, ownership, leadership, product portfolio, and financials unverified.
As a result, the investment-relevant picture of Team 303 RAMP is largely an operational skeleton: name, DBA, location (Bridgewater, United States), headcount band, broad vertical focus (robotics competitions and live streams), and an active but data-thin web domain. The notable analytical flag is the mismatch between the niche event focus ("robotics competitions and live stream events") and a 1,001–5,000 employee band — a discrepancy that materially affects revenue estimation and credibility assessment, and which cannot be reconciled within the supplied evidence base.

Team 303 RAMP competitors and assessment
Company assessmentDirect peers
- FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology): FIRST operates the largest K-12 robotics competition series (FRC, FTC, FLL) globally. Team 303 is itself a FIRST team name and the company sits in the same amateur/grassroots robotics tournament category, making FIRST the closest comparable organizer.
- REC Foundation (VEX Robotics): REC runs the VEX IQ, VEX V5, and VEX U competition circuits — the main rival league to FIRST in school robotics. Directly comparable as an organizer of grassroots robotics tournaments with spectator and live-stream components.
- RoboCup Federation: RoboCup organizes international autonomous robotics tournaments across multiple leagues. Comparable as a robotics tournament organizer with live spectator and broadcast elements, though oriented to university rather than school-aged teams.
- BEST Robotics: BEST Robotics runs a U.S. middle/high school robotics competition series with regional hubs and a national championship. Directly comparable grassroots tournament organizer serving a similar audience with similar event economics.
- MATE ROV Competition: MATE runs student remotely operated vehicle (underwater robotics) competitions with regional qualifiers and an international finals. Comparable grassroots tournament model serving a robotics-adjacent student audience.
- National Robotics League (NRL): NRL organizes combat-style student robotics competitions through regional events and a national finals. Comparable grassroots tournament model with spectator appeal and live event production requirements.
Others
- Twitch: Twitch is the dominant live-stream platform where robotics competitions (FIRST, VEX) already draw large audiences. Comparable as the ecosystem/distribution layer that any robotics live-stream business must integrate with or compete against.
- Discovery Education (STEM Live / competitions): Discovery Education runs K-12 STEM initiatives including virtual and live competitions, classroom robotics programs, and educator events. Comparable as an adjacent STEM event producer that schools already contract with for robotics-adjacent programming.
Emerging players
- BattleBots: BattleBots produces televised robotics combat events with a strong broadcast and live-stream footprint. Comparable as a robotics competition brand built around live spectator and streaming audiences, though aimed at professional competitors rather than students.
- SkillsUSA (Robotics / STEM competitions): SkillsUSA runs career-focused technical competitions including robotics categories at state and national levels. Comparable as a student tournament organizer with potential overlap on production and broadcast.
