Vario Pool System

What Vario Pool System does

Vario Pool System GmbH (VPS) is a German manufacturer of custom-engineered swimming pools, headquartered in Minden with registration in Bad Oeynhausen. The company has operated for more than 30 years and employs between 11 and 50 staff. Its core offering is a proprietary pool-shell system built from rigid PVC/GRP composite reinforced with a steel mesh, produced to project-specific dimensions rather than as a standardized catalogue SKU. VPS designs, engineers, and supplies these pools for private residences, premium hospitality and resort properties (Koenigshof Munich, Romantik-Hof Greetsiel, Fair Resort, Alpenrose), and sports-medicine and therapeutic-wellness facilities including the DFB (German Football Association) Akademie.

The company monetizes through project-based sales of custom pool systems, sold either directly to enterprise/institutional clients for turnkey installation or via a Fachhändler (specialist dealer) network that handles smaller residential projects across Germany and Austria. Its go-to-market combines trade-show presence, association membership (BSW, PoolPlenum, DSB IG), and dealer-led local installation. The 2022 launch of the VPS Pool Visu augmented-reality application extended its commercial surface into pre-sales visualization for dealers and end customers. No external funding, M&A, leadership change, or AI/ML capability has been disclosed in the available data, leaving VPS positioned as a stable, privately-held niche industrial manufacturer in the DACH custom-pool segment.
