Rishikesh Yog Sansthan

What Rishikesh Yog Sansthan does

Rishikesh Yog Sansthan (RYS) is a privately held residential yoga teacher training school headquartered in Swargashram, Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, India, founded in 2016. The company operates a Yoga Alliance USA-registered school (RYS 200 and RYS 300) and delivers a six-program portfolio comprising 100-hour, 200-hour, 300-hour, and 500-hour Yoga Teacher Training Courses (YTTC) alongside 3-day and 7-day wellness retreats, covering beginner through advanced practitioner tiers. Programs are residential and include accommodation, vegetarian sattvic meals, instruction in Hatha, Ashtanga, and Vinyasa yoga, plus pranayama, meditation, yoga philosophy, anatomy, and teaching methodology, with optional Ayurvedic treatments.

The faculty of four named teachers — Yogi Kalpendra Chauhan (ERYT-500, M.A. Yoga Science), Yogi Neeraj Rayal (Yog Shastri), Dr. Rakesh (Ayurveda and Anatomy), and Yogi Shubham Bhandari (M.A. Yoga) — deliver instruction in small batches of 15-20 students. Revenue is generated entirely through one-time fees for residential programs, priced from $199 (3-day retreat shared room) to $2,199 (500-hour YTTC private room), with the 200-hour program at $799-$899 as the flagship offering and early-bird discounts of 10-15% for advance bookings via PayPal.

RYS pursues a direct-to-consumer go-to-market targeting international students, with enrollment handled via the school's website application form, WhatsApp/phone (+91-8954880281), and email inquiries. Marketing channels include an on-site blog, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, and review platforms (Google, TripAdvisor). The school reports having trained "thousands of yoga teachers" cumulatively across its operating history. No external funding, M&A activity, partnerships, or institutional investors are disclosed; ownership appears founder/teacher-operated across the 1-10 employee organization.
