What Knowledge-Based Idea Developers Company Kian Vanda Andisheh does

Ekvan (اِکوان), formally Knowledge-Based Idea Developers Company Kian Vanda Andisheh, is a privately held Iranian software development firm founded in 2020 and headquartered at the Markazi Province Science and Technology Park in Arak, Iran. The company employs a small team of 9+ professionals covering UI/UX design, front-end development, SEO, content production, and WordPress design, and operates under the leadership of CEO Alireza Rabiee, Chairman Kiarash Aghakhani, and Advisor Mohsen Rahmani. Its core proprietary offering is the Iris (آیریس) platform ecosystem, anchored by Iris LMS — a comprehensive learning management system designed for online and offline classes — and extended into specialized modules including Iris Webinar, Iris School Version, a customized version for the Markazi Province Science and Technology Park, Iris Page Builder for Universities (deployed at Arak University), Iris Store Builder, and Iris Form Builder. The company also operates Akam LMS as a parallel educational platform.

Beyond its proprietary products, Ekvan delivers project-based custom software development, web design, SEO, brand identity design, and office automation services as professional services engagements. The company operates a dual revenue model: subscription or licensing of the Iris platform suite to educational institutions and organizations, combined with project-based billing for custom development work targeting Iranian SMBs and public institutions. It has completed 28+ projects across education, manufacturing, media, e-commerce, construction, automotive, and skincare verticals, with a small number of international engagements in Canada (Drivingneed, Urban Windows & Doors, Max Sandwich).

Ekvan holds multiple Iranian regulatory certifications that materially shape its operating position: knowledge-based company (دانش‌بنیان) status from the Vice Presidency for Science and Technology, TRL 9 (highest technology readiness level) from Iran's Safa evaluation system under the Ministry of Science, a technology permit from the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, and membership in the Computer Guild of Markazi Province. The company is entirely privately held, founder/management-owned, with no disclosed external funding rounds, institutional investors, or parent company. The firm is primarily a domestic Iranian market operator with a limited international footprint, structured as a micro-enterprise specializing in education-vertical software and B2B digital services.
