AA Action Waterproofing Inc

What AA Action Waterproofing Inc does

AA Action Waterproofing Inc is a privately held, specialized residential home-services contractor founded in 1987 and headquartered in Glen Burnie, Maryland. The company focuses exclusively on basement waterproofing, foundation repair, mold remediation, and crawl space encapsulation/insulation for individual homeowners — explicitly positioning against general contractors in order to deliver category-specific expertise. Service coverage spans Maryland, Virginia, Washington D.C., Delaware, Eastern Pennsylvania, and New Jersey.

Its core product lines include interior and exterior basement waterproofing (drainage systems, sealants, foundation crack repair), professional mold remediation using HEPA vacuums and antimicrobial treatments, structural foundation repair (crack repair, carbon fiber bowed-wall stabilization, full replacement where required), and crawl space encapsulation comprising vapor barriers, dehumidifiers, insulation, and pressure relief systems. Adjacent offerings include window well drain installation, drainage solutions (footer drains, sump pumps with battery backup), and mold testing/inspection.

The business operates a sales-led, direct-to-consumer go-to-market model: homeowners contact the company via phone (410-789-2600 / 888-922-5517) or web forms, receive a free on-site foundation inspection lasting roughly one hour, and are quoted via a written estimate that remains valid for as long as they own the home. Revenue is generated one-time through project-based professional-service fees, supplemented by an interest-free 12-month consumer financing program for approved credit. Marketing is executed primarily through the company website (100+ SEO-optimized local service pages, blog content, contact forms) and a portfolio of third-party review platforms (BBB, Angie's List, Home Advisor, Houzz, Yelp, Best Pick Reports). The firm is Maryland-licensed (MHIC #51719), insured, bonded, and has held an A+ BBB rating.
