Bailey MK Ltd

What Bailey MK Ltd does

Bailey MK Ltd (trading as Bailey MK Roofing, legal entity Bailey Roofing (MK) Ltd) is a privately-held, family-run roofing contractor headquartered at Crossroads Farm, Drayton Parslow near Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, with a registered office in Great Brickhill. Founded in 1978, the company has operated continuously for over 45 years and is owned and led by Nathan Bailey. It delivers a full suite of roofing services across Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, and Northamptonshire, serving both domestic property owners and commercial clients, with selective work for heritage and listed buildings.

The company installs and repairs flat roofs (EPDM, single-ply, torch-on, mineral systems) and pitched roofs (natural slate, tiles from suppliers including Marley, Redland, Sandtoft, BMI, and Forticrete), and performs lead work, guttering and roofline, chimney repairs, loft conversions with Velux windows, and broader external property maintenance. All lead workers are trained by the Lead Sheet Association, and several team members are manufacturer-trained installers for Marley Eternit, Klober, and Velux. The company holds BS 5534 compliance for pitched roof work and is a Velux-approved installer and approved installer for Langley Waterproofing and RubberBond. A secondary line supplies reclaimed roofing materials (slates, tiles, chimney pots, fixtures) salvaged from local projects for conservation and period-matching work.

Bailey MK operates a direct-to-consumer, quote-based revenue model with no published pricing and free quotes provided before engagement. Revenue is generated from project-based roofing installation services and ancillary reclaimed materials sales. Marketing runs primarily through the company website, blog content, and word-of-mouth referrals; there are no disclosed intermediaries or reseller channels. The firm has earned NFRC Gold Status awards in 2019 (Health & Safety), 2022, and 2023, and partners with Milton Keynes College for an External Property Maintenance apprenticeship pipeline.
