International Human Design School

What International Human Design School does

International Human Design School (IHDS) is an online education provider specializing in the Human Design System, with origins dating to 1992 and the Professional Training Academy formally established in September 2008. Operating as a subsidiary of Jovian Archive Media Inc. and headquartered in Carlsbad, California, the school delivers direct-to-consumer certification and training programs to a global student base spanning more than 80 countries. The school functions as the sole official certifying body for the Human Design System and holds exclusive rights to registered trademarks including the Rave BodyGraph and Rave Mandala. Operations are led by Director Lynda Bunnell with approximately 27 employees.

The product portfolio encompasses Foundation Courses, the multi-year Professional Training Academy, the Science of Differentiation College, the BG5 Business Institute, the Rave Cosmology Biversity, and digital products including Human Design Reports and The Daily View (a real-time transit tool refreshed every five minutes). Course pricing ranges from approximately $350 for foundational offerings to $5,500 for advanced certifications, with the Professional Analyst certification pathway spanning roughly 3.5 years. Distribution is executed through a network of 16+ National Human Design Organizations, which act as localized marketing and practitioner channels across global markets.

Revenue is generated through three primary mechanics: recurring subscription-based professional training programs (multi-year certification cohorts), one-time foundation course purchases, and specialized certifications in business strategy (BG5) and family/child development. The business serves at least six identifiable customer segments ranging from newcomers seeking personal development to advanced specialists and business professionals applying the system in commercial contexts. The combination of high-touch certification cohorts and global distribution through national organizations supports a multi-year customer lifetime value for advanced tier enrollees.
