Soccernet.ee

What Soccernet.ee does

Soccernet.ee is Estonia's primary digital football media platform, founded in 2001 and operating out of Tallinn with a 9-person team. The platform serves Estonian football fans with comprehensive editorial coverage of domestic leagues (A. Le Coq Premium liiga, Esiliiga, Esiliiga B, Women's Meistriliiga), national teams (men's, women's, and youth), Estonian clubs in European competition, and major international leagues (Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Champions League, Europa League, Conference League). It functions as a one-stop destination for Estonian-language football content, operating daily publishing cycles with news articles, match reports, opinion pieces, and multimedia.

The underlying platform is a web-based digital media property built on conventional CMS, live video streaming, and community forum technology, distributed across multiple subdomains: the main portal (soccernet.ee), dedicated streaming service (tv.soccernet.ee), community forum (foorum.soccernet.ee), an integrated fantasy football game, and an Ennustus prediction game. The company also produces a portfolio of branded video and audio products, including the Silm peale! interview series, the Pikk ette (ja ise järele) podcast, Üks ühele one-on-one interviews, Elu palli taga talk show, SN x PL challenge series, and the Udune Albion Premier League column, plus a dedicated microsite (mm2026.soccernet.ee) for the 2026 World Cup.

The business model is free-to-user and advertising-supported, with sportsbook brand Vivatbet occupying header, sidebar, and footer ad inventory across the main site and streaming surface. No subscription tier, mobile app, or disclosed monetization diversification exists. No funding rounds, parent company, ownership structure, or public revenue figures are disclosed. The community forum is currently inaccessible due to a documented cyberattack, representing an active operational risk to the platform's community engagement layer.
