What Treemendous Tree Care does
Treemendous Tree Care LLC is a privately held, founder-owned tree care services company headquartered at 22832 Macomb Industrial Dr, Clinton Township, Michigan. Founded in 2019 by Harry Houck, the company delivers residential and commercial tree services — including tree removal, trimming and pruning, stump grinding, arborist assessments, crane-assisted removal, zero-impact removal, and 24/7 emergency response — across 12 Southeast Michigan communities. It also offers adjacent excavation, sitework, and septic installation services.
The company's service capability rests on an in-house team of arborists, groundsmen, and tree climbers (rather than outsourced labor) operating industry-grade equipment that includes cranes, bucket lifts, stump grinders, professional chainsaws, and climbing harnesses. Differentiated technical methods center on zero-impact tree removal using ground-protection mats, advanced rigging, and crane-assisted section lowering to protect surrounding landscapes. The company holds Michigan arborist licensing, OSHA safety certification, crane operator certification, and full insurance including workers' compensation.
Commercially, Treemendous operates a direct-to-consumer and direct-to-business sales motion: customers contact the company by phone ((248) 506-0241) or via a website contact form to request free written, itemized estimates. Revenue is generated through service-based, job-by-job pricing (quotes vary by tree size, species, condition, accessibility, and equipment) rather than hourly billing, with marketing emphasis on quick response, free estimates, a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee, and organic-local-search content (tree species guides and educational articles). No external funding, M&A, or non-founder ownership is disclosed.
