Võimlemisklubi Piruett

What Võimlemisklubi Piruett does

Võimlemisklubi Piruett (MTÜ Võimlemisklubi Piruett, reg. code 80097031) is an Estonian non-profit gymnastics club founded in 1990 by Mall Kalve and headquartered at Tatari 58, Tallinn. The club delivers gymnastics programs across rhythmic gymnastics (Iluvõimlemine), group gymnastics (Rühmvõimlemine), acrobatics (Akrobaatika), dance gymnastics, ballet for adults, and women's/senior health gymnastics, serving approximately 600 children aged 3-18 plus adult participants across at least eight Tallinn and Harjumaa district branches and partner kindergartens. Its core technology is specialized physical training infrastructure (bars, walls, mirrors, carpeted floors, apparatus) operated by EKR-qualified coaches; there is no proprietary software, AI/ML capability, or digital platform underpinning the service.

The business model is built on recurring monthly training subscriptions (40-55 EUR per month for recreational and selection groups, 45 EUR/month for adult ballet), supplemented by seasonal camp programs (day camps at 96 EUR, overnight camps at 285-468 EUR), private coaching (45-60 EUR/hour), ticketed concerts (10 EUR), venue rental, and birthday party services. Customer acquisition is community-led and event-driven through free trial classes, open training sessions, school/kindergarten outreach, and an active social media presence on Facebook and Instagram under #GCPiruett. Revenue is further supported by municipal sports subsidies channeled through the 'klikkamine' system across Tallinn, Viimsi, Harku, Saku, and Saue municipalities, plus cultural and educational grants from Eesti Kultuurkapital, Tallinna Kultuuri- ja Spordiamet, and Haridus- ja Noorteamet, alongside modest corporate sponsorships. The club's elite team (Eliitrühm, 20-24 members) competes and performs internationally at events including Gymnaestrada, FIG Gym for Life Challenges (2009 World Club Champion in Austria, 2013 gold in South Africa), and military tattoos across 15+ countries.
