What AMC Yacht Training Center LLC Eesti filiaal does

AMC Yacht Training Center LLC Eesti filiaal is a Moscow-based Russian-language yacht training school that delivers International Yacht Training (IYT) certified programs from entry-level Bareboat Skipper through Yachtmaster Ocean. The school serves Russian-speaking amateur sailors and aspirants with no prior experience, families seeking children's sailing programs, experienced sailors upgrading to offshore or ocean certification, and competitive regatta participants, while also acting as a zero-markup booking agent for 70+ global charter companies. Revenue is generated primarily through course tuition across in-person classroom, correspondence, and distance learning modalities (theory at 25,000-40,000 RUB, practical at 1,700 EUR), supplemented by educational materials sales and charter-booking commissions.

The school's core technology is a Moodle-based e-learning platform (edu.amcsailing.ru) supporting a 4-month distance Bareboat Skipper program, anchored by a proprietary IYT-approved Russian-language textbook containing embedded English nautical terminology and 200+ original illustrations, alongside freely distributed interactive web-based sailing simulators (flashprogs) that are also adopted by other Russian sailing schools. All instructors hold the Master of Yachts 200 Tons Unlimited (Ocean) IYT qualification, and practical training is delivered in cohorts of 3-4 students on 45-foot yachts at international sailing locations including Turkey, Greece, Croatia, Finland, Thailand, and the Caribbean.

Commercially, the business is structured as a direct-to-consumer operation with no disclosed external funding, acquisitions, or enterprise customers, operating from a single Moscow classroom on Leningradsky Prospekt under director Vladimir Vatrushnin. Go-to-market is content-led via the amcsailing.ru website (Russian-language SEO, articles, video, and travel reports), reinforced by flotilla and regatta community events that drive referrals and lifetime engagement. The Estonian legal branch designation (Eesti filiaal) coexists with the Russian operating entity, and revenue figures are not publicly disclosed.

AMC Yacht Training Center is a Moscow-based yachting school offering a comprehensive portfolio of sailing and motor yacht training programs under the International Yacht Training (IYT) certification system. The school also offers specialized add-on courses including the 7-day 'Maneuvering Freely' advanced mastery course in Turkey, the 10-day 'Bowman Begins and Wins' sailing sports training, meteorology courses, and the 3-hour '100+ Tips for Yacht Captains' online course. Beyond training, the school provides yacht charter agency services in over 70 regions worldwide and organizes flotillas and regattas for experienced sailors.
