RA Productions

What RA Productions does

RA Productions is an Estonia-based film and media production company operating under a professional-services model founded in 2020 and headquartered in Tartu. The company produces films, documentaries, music videos, television and commercial content, news stories, and event aftermovies for clients including musicians and bands, brands, and cultural institutions. Its core offerings are project-based and custom-quoted, with revenue earned per engagement rather than through recurring contracts or subscription pricing.

The company's underlying capability is a small, multidisciplinary creative team covering directing, cinematography, editing, sound design, and composition, enabling end-to-end delivery from pre-production through post-production. Its go-to-market is sales-led and relationship-driven, relying on a Squarespace-hosted portfolio website, YouTube, and Instagram for inbound demand, supplemented by direct outreach via email and phone. Customer segments are horizontal, segmented by use case (creative industry clients, musicians/bands, documentary/cultural projects) rather than by vertical or company size. Notable work includes the in-progress feature-length portrait documentary "Maanus Mikkel. Savi, vanem kui leib" (release planned for 2026), music videos for Estonian artists, and a documentary series aired on ERR's Jupiter platform.

The business model is a typical independent production studio: revenue is project-based, pricing is opaque and bespoke, there is no disclosed institutional funding, and the company is privately held with no parent or subsidiary structure. Customers and booking channels are direct, with no intermediaries, resellers, or platform marketplace dependencies. The geographic footprint is primarily Estonia, though the distribution channel claims global reach; no select customers, revenue figures, or headcount figures are disclosed, which limits third-party verifiability of scale.
