Pipes & Plugs

What Pipes & Plugs does

Pipes & Plugs is a privately held plumbing and electrical services contractor serving residential and small commercial customers across South Louisiana. The company operates from its headquarters in New Iberia and a satellite office in Lafayette, providing repair, installation, and 24/7 emergency response across both metros. Its technical capabilities include hydro-jetting, video pipe inspection, acoustic leak detection, thermal imaging, and trenchless pipe lining — a diagnostic and remediation equipment set characteristic of mid-tier specialty contractors rather than small handyman operations.

The revenue model combines transactional service revenue with a recurring subscription product, the VIP Protection Plan priced at $240 per year, which provides members with priority scheduling and maintenance benefits. Customer financing is facilitated through Synchrony to support larger ticket jobs. The firm is led by Kerry Prudhomme (President) and Jennifer Hebert (Operations Manager), holds Louisiana contractor license #42498, and markets a 5-year workmanship warranty as a quality differentiator. The business is privately funded as a closely held LLC with no disclosed external investment, and headcount sits in the 10–15 range based on team-page evidence.
