Descriptiontext

The Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association (OSSAA) is a nonprofit state activities association headquartered at 7300 Broadway Extension, Oklahoma City, that serves as the official sanctioning and governing body for interscholastic athletics and academic activities across Oklahoma's secondary schools. OSSAA oversees 14 athletic sports (including Baseball, Basketball, Football, Soccer, Wrestling, Volleyball, Swimming, Track, Cross Country, Golf, Tennis, Spirit, Fast-Pitch and Slow-Pitch Softball) and 4 academic activity programs (Academic Bowl, Music, Speech & Debate, eSports), serving a base of 500+ member schools through standardized rules, eligibility verification, classification management, and state championship organization.

OSSAA's operational backbone is a digital platform ecosystem rather than internally developed software: ArbiterSports handles game officials registration, certification, and scheduling across all sanctioned sports; GoFan provides digital ticketing for state championship and playoff events; and AthletesGoLive (partnered March 2026) delivers real-time scoring for baseball and softball. Supporting infrastructure includes the official ossaaillustrated.com website as the central rules, schedule, and classification resource hub, an ossaarankings.com membership and ranking platform, and an e-commerce merchandise storefront at ossaa.com. Distribution is exclusively within Oklahoma (single-country, domestic-only geo scope), with no identified subsidiaries, parent company, or equity ownership structure.

The association's revenue model is not publicly disclosed but is inferred to derive from member school dues, event and championship-related fees, sponsorship income from a small set of named partners (OG&E for Academic Bowl and eSports; Country Financial for football and Teacher Spotlight; Oklahoma Army National Guard for wrestling), merchandise sales, and ticketing economics through GoFan for championship events. As a nonprofit governing body rather than a commercial enterprise, OSSAA has no funding rounds, no disclosed investors, no M&A activity, and no app of its own; pricing and revenue figures are not publicly disclosed.
