What Rental World does
Rental World, operating under the trade names ABC Rental World and Andrews Party Rental, is a privately-held event rental company headquartered at 7741 East Gray Road, Suite 117, Scottsdale, Arizona. Founded in 1995, the business has supplied rental equipment for weddings, corporate events, birthday parties, community festivals, and backyard gatherings across the Phoenix metropolitan area and broader Arizona for over 30 years. The company maintains a single Scottsdale warehouse/showroom (by appointment only) and delivers throughout Scottsdale, Tempe, Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert, Glendale, Peoria, Fountain Hills, Cave Creek, Paradise Valley, Tucson, Flagstaff, Prescott, and Sedona.
The core offering is a comprehensive event rental inventory organized across more than ten product categories: tents and lighting (frame canopies from 20x20 to 30x30, pop-up canopies, sidewalls, halogen lights), tables (banquet, round, square, cocktail, seminar, serpentine, kids), chairs (chiavari, resin, folding, banquet, bar stool, lounge, highchair), linens, dance floors and staging, cooling and heating, audio and meeting equipment, commercial catering equipment, concession machines, dinnerware and flatware, glassware and bar equipment, and wedding and tabletop decor. The technology stack is intentionally lightweight: a WordPress-based website (abcrentalworld.com) provides inventory browsing, a wishlist function, and a quote request form that routes to phone- and email-based closing, with no mobile app, public API, or third-party marketplace integration.
Revenue is generated through per-event unit rental pricing (plastic folding chair at $1.65, chiavari chair at $9.85, frame tent from $540, double door refrigerator at $605) plus optional paid setup and takedown services ($0.50-$1.00 per chair, $1.00 per table or linen) and add-on consumables such as propane. Frame tents require custom quotes based on size. The customer base comprises three identified segments: individual event planners and hosts (primary), corporate clients (team-building, conferences), and wedding parties. Marketing is conducted through the company website, Facebook, and Instagram; the sales motion is quote-driven and converted primarily by phone. The company does not disclose revenue, headcount, or external investment, and no parent company, subsidiaries, or funding history is reported in available sources.
