What absolute teamsport rausch does

ABSOLUTE Teamsport Rausch is a single-location retail and online sports equipment store based in Sandhausen, Germany, operating under the legal entity Sport Hambrecht GmbH. The company specializes in team sports apparel, footwear, and equipment, with a primary focus on football (soccer) and handball. It serves local and regional consumers in the Rhine-Neckar / Baden-Württemberg region, as well as football and handball clubs seeking team uniforms and bulk equipment. Brand portfolio includes JAKO, Nike, Erima, Joma, Puma, and DFB-branded merchandise.

The business operates through a physical retail storefront (Hauptstraße 110, 69207 Sandhausen) with limited trading hours — four evenings per week plus Saturday mornings — complemented by an appointment-based consultation and pickup booking system powered by Microsoft Outlook/Office 365, and an e-commerce presence via the ATS Online Shop. Gift certificates are sold online in fixed denominations of €25-€200 plus custom amounts. The team comprises 9 members including Managing Director Timo Rausch, who also serves as the company's data protection officer. Marketing is conducted through organic channels: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, email newsletter, and a Wix-based website with Google Analytics and Google Maps integration.

The revenue model is straightforward one-time transactional retail across in-store purchases, online shop orders, gift certificate sales, and catalog distribution from multiple brand partners. Customer segments are horizontally split between individual local/regional consumers and sports teams/clubs, with no enterprise or B2B anchor customers disclosed. Technology is commodity — no proprietary platform, no AI/ML, and reliance on standard SaaS tooling (Wix, Microsoft Office 365, Box.com, SharePoint, Google Analytics/Maps). The company is privately held, founder/owner-operated, with no external funding, no subsidiaries, and no public revenue disclosure.
