What tornador tools does

Tornador Tools is a privately held U.S. manufacturer and direct-to-consumer retailer of automotive cleaning and detailing equipment, headquartered in Woodridge, Illinois. The company's product line is built around its proprietary "tornado air action" technology, which uses cone-shaped nozzles with oscillating tips to generate a cyclonic cleaning motion when supplied by compressed air (60-90 psi, ~5 CFM). This mechanism blasts a fine mist of cleaning solution into crevices and lifts dirt from upholstery, carpet, plastics, wheels, and body seams without over-saturating surfaces. The portfolio spans 102 SKUs across core air-cleaning tools (Z-007 Mini, Z-010 Classic, Z-014 Air Blow Out, Z-020 Black, Z-030 TornadorMax), foam delivery systems (Z-011 Foam Gun, Z-013 Foam Cannon), vacuum-integrated attachments (ZV-200, ZV-240 Velocity-Vac), cordless equipment (S-100C HVLP sprayer, T-21/T-21C polishers), dedicated replacement parts, consumable chemicals (Enzyme, Foamy, Sudsy, Deodorizer), paint correction kits, and accessories such as pads, chamois, and tool bags.

The company's core technology is protected by nine granted U.S. utility patents, one granted Taiwanese patent, multiple pending U.S. design and Velocity-Vac patent applications, and the Tornador trademark. Product differentiation is reinforced by incremental engineering advances such as the Z-030's patented spring rotation set with sealed ball bearings, an integrated LED tactical light, and an onboard air regulator, as well as the Z-020's lower air consumption design. Tornador serves two primary segments: professional auto detailers and car wash operators performing high-volume reconditioning work (primary), and home automotive enthusiasts seeking professional-grade results (secondary).
