Expansion highlights5 records

Broad incumbents

• jobs.ch: Switzerland's largest generalist job board, operated by JobCloud. Comparable because it competes for the same Swiss employer recruitment budgets and could expand downmarket into apprenticeship listings, but serves a much broader job category beyond vocational training.
• jobscout24.ch: Major Swiss job platform operated by JobCloud alongside jobs.ch. Comparable as a Swiss recruitment channel competing for employer share-of-wallet, with generalist positioning that overlaps Yousty's employer-side value proposition.
• Jobbörse der Bundesagentur für Arbeit: Germany's official federal employment agency job portal. Comparable as a free, government-backed apprenticeship and job platform that competes for student-side traffic and employer postings across the DACH region.
• LinkedIn: Global professional network that increasingly features apprenticeship and early-career job listings. Comparable as a broad incumbent that could absorb apprenticeship recruitment into its employer offering, posing a substitution risk for niche players like Yousty.
• Xing: DACH-focused professional network and job platform. Comparable as a regional incumbent in the German-speaking recruitment market, with potential to add vocational training listings and compete for the same Swiss employer budget.

Direct peers

• Azubis.de: Germany's leading apprenticeship/internship marketplace. Direct peer: same two-sided model connecting Ausbildung seekers with training companies, with comparable self-serve employer posting and student matching functionality.
• Ausbildung.de: Germany's dedicated apprenticeship information and matching platform. Direct peer offering career exploration tools, aptitude testing and employer connections to school-leavers pursuing vocational paths in the DACH region.
• Lehrstelle.de: German apprenticeship marketplace connecting Lehrstellen seekers with training companies. Direct peer with the same two-sided marketplace mechanics, though operating in the German (rather than Swiss) regulatory and education context.

Regional players

• Lehrstellen.at: Austrian apprenticeship matching platform operated by the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber. Comparable as a German-language DACH apprenticeship portal serving similar dual-education markets, though regionally focused on Austria.
• Aushang.at: Austrian apprenticeship and trainee matching platform. Comparable as a niche regional player serving a similar dual-education apprenticeship market, though concentrated in Austria rather than Switzerland.
