ABC Rentals Inc

What ABC Rentals Inc does

ABC Rentals Inc is a privately held, single-location rental and light-equipment retail company founded in 1967 and headquartered at 460 Villaume Ave in South St. Paul, Minnesota. The company operates as a one-stop rental shop serving homeowners, contractors, and event hosts across the Twin Cities metro area, including South St. Paul, St. Paul, Eagan, West St. Paul, Inver Grove Heights, Woodbury, and Cottage Grove, MN. Its portfolio spans equipment rentals (air tools, compaction, compressors, concrete, dollies, electrical, floor care, generators, heaters, ladders and lifts, lawn and garden, mechanical tools, painting, plumbing, propane, saws, skid steers, trailers), party and event rentals (tables, chairs, canopies, linens, concessions, audio-visual, recreational equipment), self-storage units sized 5x15 to 10x30 with 24-hour access, truck rentals of 16' to 26' vans with moving supplies, sales of new and used equipment including an exclusive try-before-you-buy option, and full-service equipment repair.

The business has no proprietary technology platform identified and runs on a traditional brick-and-mortar model with a website-based catalog and quote-request flow as its digital channel. Revenue is generated through a mix of usage-based rental fees (daily, 3-day, weekly, and 4-hour cadences on specific items), recurring self-storage subscriptions, one-time equipment sales, and professional services revenue from repair work. ABC Rentals has been an authorized Western snowplow dealer for 29 years, supporting a specialized vertical of snow and ice removal equipment sales, parts, and repair underpinned by mechanics with over 86 years of collective expertise. The customer base is a long-tail mix of homeowners doing DIY projects, contractors needing jobsite equipment, and event planners or party hosts, with no disclosed enterprise or institutional customer concentration.
