What Hudevad Radiator Design does

Hudevad Radiator Design (legal entity Hudevad A/S) is a Danish private manufacturer of design-focused steel panel and cast iron radiators, founded in the 1930s and headquartered in Copenhagen. The company produces a broad catalog across horizontal, vertical, lowline, bench, electrical, and heated towel rail formats, manufactured to EN442 and EN10051 standards with powder coating and signature design elements such as the "Characteristic Hudevad Edge." Product prices range from £179 for entry-level panel radiators to over £1,300 for premium column and cast iron models, with custom orders requiring up to 12-week lead times and colored radiators handled off-line.

Hudevad operates a hybrid B2B/B2C go-to-market: direct-to-consumer sales via an e-commerce webshop, dedicated phone sales teams in Denmark and the UK, a dealer/reseller network, and a professional consultancy channel for architects and installers. Customer segments span private individuals, architects and designers, installers and contractors, healthcare/institutional buyers, and commercial/office spaces, with REVIT files, EPDs, and DGNB documentation supporting specification in commercial projects. The company holds EcoVadis certification and a 10-year product warranty, and positions itself on Danish design heritage, energy efficiency, and sustainability. Revenue, ownership, and headcount trends are not publicly disclosed, and the company shows no recent M&A, funding, or leadership change activity in the source data.

Direct peers

• Zehnder Group: Swiss-headquartered premium radiator and indoor climate solutions manufacturer. Zehnder is one of Hudevad's closest direct competitors, selling design-led panel and column radiators across Europe with similar architectural specification channels.
• Jaga: Belgian premium designer radiator manufacturer with strong focus on low-H2O and energy-efficient heating solutions. Jaga competes head-to-head with Hudevad in the European architectural specification market for design radiators.
• Myson: UK radiator manufacturer with heritage in column and panel radiators, including traditional and contemporary designs. Direct competitor to Hudevad in UK design-led heating, particularly through architectural specification channels.
• Runtal: Swiss premium designer radiator manufacturer (part of Zehnder Group) known for minimalist tubular and panel radiators. Directly comparable to Hudevad on design-led positioning and European B2B specification channel.
• Vasco: Belgian/Netherlands-based designer radiator brand with broad European distribution. Vasco offers both traditional and modern panel/column radiators targeting the same architectural and consumer segments as Hudevad.
• Bisque: UK-based designer radiator specialist offering traditional and contemporary column and panel radiators. Comparable to Hudevad on product mix (column radiators, made-to-order, design heritage) and target UK B2B/B2C customers.
