Hoctainha.vn

What Hoctainha.vn does

Hoctainha.vn (Học tại nhà, "Study at Home") is a Vietnamese online educational platform operated by Minsoft Online JSC (Công ty Cổ phần Trực tuyến Minsoft Việt Nam), a joint stock company headquartered in Hanoi, founded in 2011 with a social network service license issued in August 2012. The platform serves Vietnamese high school students preparing for university entrance examinations (Đại học), providing free access to study materials, practice problems, lecture videos, and exam preparation content across eight core subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, Literature, History, and Geography. The platform is architected as a main portal with subject-specific subdomains (toan, ly, hoa, sinh, anh, van, su, dia) and includes an online multiple-choice testing system, Q&A forum, member leaderboards, and community chat features. The Mathematics library alone contains 12,208+ practice problems, and the platform has reached 70,000+ registered members.

The platform's core technology is a web-based content and community system with no mobile applications, no public APIs, and no disclosed integrations. User support is provided through Yahoo Messenger, Facebook, and phone, indicating a legacy technology stack. The business model is free-to-user with no publicly disclosed pricing; revenue is inferred to come from display advertising and potential educational product partnerships, though no concrete monetization metrics are disclosed. No funding rounds, no executive team, no M&A activity, and no headcount data are reported in the source material, suggesting the company operates as a small, bootstrapped or independently funded venture within the Minsoft Online corporate umbrella. The absence of recent product launches, mobile presence, or AI features signals that the platform has been in extended maintenance mode since its 2011-2012 launch period.
