What P2A DESIGN does
P2A Design is a Milan-based architecture, interior design, and acoustic engineering studio founded in 2017 and operating with a core team of six led by founders Alessandro Pasini and Paola Renda. The firm delivers integrated design services spanning architectural design, interior design, acoustic consulting (with particular specialization in recording studios), lighting design, construction direction, and project management. Its project portfolio covers private residential renovations (apartments in Milan, Treviglio, Genoa, and rural Oltrepò Pavese), hospitality venues (Japo Restaurant in Treviglio, Colere 1600 mountain refuge with 28 rooms and SPA), music production facilities (Sugar Music Studio for Andrea Bocelli and Negramaro, Master Chord Studio in London, Fleming, The Shelter, Attitude Studio), and corporate offices (Work Agency HQ in Milan's historic OMSA building).
The studio's go-to-market is sales-led and project-based, acquiring clients through a curated portfolio website, a project-intake questionnaire, and direct referrals within the Italian architecture and design community. Revenue is generated through professional-services fees for design, direction of works, and project management, with no publicly disclosed pricing. Delivery relies on a curated ecosystem of recurring specialist partners including construction firm Impresa D&D, acoustic treatment providers Arte Acustica and Consonica, lighting and furniture suppliers (Pedrali, Natuzzi, Linealight, Marset, Vibia), and various engineering consultants.
P2A Design is a privately held Italian firm with no external investors, no parent company, no disclosed funding, and no patents, certifications, or formal industry awards. Its geographic footprint is concentrated in Lombardy, Italy, with occasional international engagements such as the Master Chord Studio in London. The firm operates without subscriptions, marketplace channels, or recurring revenue contracts, making revenue dependent on the cadence of project wins each year.
