Butler For You

What Butler For You does

Butler For You is a privately held international household staff recruitment agency that connects high-net-worth individuals, ultra-high-net-worth families, prestigious hotels, and private yacht owners with experienced domestic professionals. Founded in 2007 by Sebastian Hirsch, the firm originally launched in London and has operated a German sister agency from Berlin since 2011. The company does not operate a proprietary technology platform; placements are conducted through traditional high-touch recruitment methods including candidate sourcing, in-person matching, detailed reference checking, and assistance with employment term negotiations. All placements are full-time and span roles such as butlers, estate managers, housekeepers, nannies, governesses, private chefs, chauffeurs, personal assistants, lady's maids, and domestic couples.

The firm generates revenue through placement fees on successful matches, with the model classified as professional services. Pricing is not publicly disclosed, but job listings on the site reference gross annual salary ranges such as €50,000–€55,000 for Frankfurt housekeepers and $130,000–$160,000 for butler/household managers in Naples, FL, indicating the agency serves the upper end of the domestic staffing market. Free consultations are offered to prospective clients, and CV uploads are accepted from candidates. Distribution is direct: the agency operates a sales-led go-to-market motion, supported by a multi-platform social presence (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, Pinterest, Xing), earned media (including a CNBC feature), and a client referral incentive program.

Butler For You reports active placements across at least 23 cities spanning the United Kingdom, continental Europe, North America, Canada, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE, with concentrated activity in London, Monaco, Geneva, New York, Dubai, and Vienna. The firm markets ongoing "strategic mentoring" to placed staff and emphasizes discretion and reliability as core value propositions. Headcount is reported at 1–10 employees, ownership is founder-controlled with no disclosed institutional investors, and there is no public revenue, funding history, or parent company. The business is operationally active and has operated continuously for over 17 years.
