Cheer Tyme

What Cheer Tyme does

Cheer Tyme Training Center is a privately held, family-owned cheerleading training facility operating from a single location inside The Splex at 200 Lambs Gap Rd, Mechanicsburg, PA. Founded as Central Penn All Stars in 1996 and incorporated in 1998, the company brands itself as Pennsylvania's first dedicated cheerleading gym and serves athletes from age 1.5 through adulthood in the Central Pennsylvania region. The core technology is physical and methodological: an air-conditioned facility equipped with two 42'x54' spring floors, a 50' tumble track with pit, a 60' rod floor with pit, a 12'x42' cheer floor, stretching and class areas, and tumbling shapes and training mats, supported by USASF-certified and Safe@Sport-certified coaching staff.

The company operates a diversified portfolio of programs including recreational cheer classes, competitive All Star teams (Half Year, Novice, Elite), Little Explorers Academy preschool gymnastics, Hyper Flex flexibility classes, Ninja classes, private lessons, open gym sessions, birthday parties, summer camps, and the in-house Cheer Tyme Challenge competition. It also runs the Cheer Tyme Inspiration (CheerAbilities) inclusive program for athletes with intellectual and developmental disabilities in partnership with the Bobbi Project, and offers B2B choreography and music services through a long-term partnership with Custom Cutz Music Editing for high school, college, and rec teams.

The business model is a mix of recurring monthly tuition and team membership fees, usage-based pricing (open gym, private lessons, drop-in events), one-time event fees (birthday parties, competitions), and professional services fees (choreography, music). Distribution is direct-to-consumer via a Jackrabbit Class registration platform, Instagram and Facebook marketing, local news coverage, word-of-mouth referrals, and community events. Customer mix spans individual families, high school programs, college programs, and recreation/leisure teams, with no external institutional capital and no parent company.
