What Evolution Pools does
Evolution Pools (legal entity: Evolution Pools Bendigo Pty Ltd) is a privately held Australian pool construction and spa retail company founded in 2008 by Managing Director Kurt and headquartered in East Bendigo, Victoria. The company sells, installs, and services fibreglass pools (60+ designs sourced from Aquatic Leisure Technologies featuring graphene-infused shells and ColourGuard fade-resistant surfaces), custom concrete pools built to engineer-certified specifications, and a full range of wellness products including Hot Spring Spas (four collections from RRP $9,990 to $36,990+), Fastlane swim spas (RRP $39,990 to $85,990+), Vigor Cold Plunge units, and Tylo Saunas. It also operates a pool shop and recurring maintenance division, supported by an on-site water testing service and a HandyPay finance partnership.
The company operates a direct-to-consumer model through an East Bendigo showroom, phone and email enquiries, and website quote forms, targeting residential homeowners in Bendigo, the Macedon Ranges, and Central Victoria. Distribution is geographically restricted to a single regional market, and the company is founder-operated with a team of approximately 16 staff split between construction and spa/service functions. All revenue is generated from one-time hardware sales and recurring maintenance contracts, with no disclosed external funding, no subsidiaries, and no enterprise or commercial customer segment.
Revenue mechanics are tied to high-ticket residential sales with seasonal EOFY promotions (15% off spas, 30% off accessories through 30 June 2026). The business model depends on its exclusive territorial dealer rights for premium brands (Hot Spring, Fastlane, Vigor) as the principal source of product differentiation, supplemented by long-standing local reputation and owner-led project oversight. No public financials are disclosed, and the company is not listed on any exchange.
