What IBF Falun does

IBF Falun is a non-profit Swedish floorball (innebandy) sports club founded in 1993 and based in Falun, Dalarna County, Sweden. The club fields a team in the Swedish Super League (SSL Herr), the top tier of Swedish floorball, and serves local sports fans, club members, season ticket holders, and the broader Falun community. The organization operates with a small staff of approximately 12 employees, structured around administrative functions such as a Cupansvarig (cup manager) and a Kanslist (office clerk).

The club's primary digital presence is a unified website built on the Sportality platform, which functions as the information hub for game schedules, SSL Herr team rosters and statistics, news, and a video archive/Play section featuring player interviews and match coverage. Tickets for SSL and cup matches, as well as club memberships, are sold through the third-party Tickster platform, while a 50/50 fan lottery is operated through Clubmate. The club maintains active Facebook and Instagram channels for fan engagement.

IBF Falun's revenue model is sponsorship- and matchday-driven. The website lists five main sponsors — OXDOG (sports equipment), Klubbhuset (club management platform), Adidas (apparel), ICA (Swedish retail chain), and Falun Municipality — alongside ticket sales, membership fees, and lottery proceeds. The club also operates a 'Cuper & Camper' sub-brand (falunfloorball.se) for youth tournaments and camps. No financial figures, funding rounds, or ownership structure beyond the member-based idrottsförening model are disclosed in the available data.
