RKVV Velsen

What RKVV Velsen does

RKVV Velsen is a private amateur football (soccer) association based in Driehuis, in the Velsen municipality of North Holland, Netherlands, registered at Wolff en Dekenlaan 144. The club operates more than 30 teams spanning senior men's squads (Sunday Zondag and Saturday Zaterdag selections down to fifth teams), women's teams (Sunday, Saturday, and VR30+ 7v7), 35+ recreational squads, and an extensive youth program from Mini's through O23, all affiliated with the KNVB (Royal Dutch Football Association). Its core offering is organized community football participation, structured training programs, a youth development academy (Opleiding), and ancillary member services including canteen operations and an annual youth football camp (Voetbalkamp).

The club's underlying technology is modest and operational: member administration and KNVB league registration are handled through the Sportlink platform, with the club website (rkvv-velsen.nl) serving as the primary information hub and Facebook/Instagram used for community engagement. There is no proprietary technology, mobile app, or API surface; the technology footprint is consistent with a volunteer-run amateur sports association.

RKVV Velsen's business model is funded primarily through recurring annual membership fees (Contributie) paid by players, non-playing members (trainers, referees), and associate members, supplemented by sponsorship revenue, canteen/bar income, and merchandise sales. The commercial ecosystem is anchored by main sponsor Nederlof-Fish (shirt sponsor with a dedicated webshop), Ab Geldermans Sport as exclusive physical retail partner for club clothing, and JAKO Nederland as apparel supplier with its own RKVV Velsen-branded webshop. The club is governed by a volunteer board, employs approximately 5 staff, and operates as an independent voluntary association with no parent company or external investors.
