What Wissing Contracting, Inc does
Wissing Contracting Company, Inc. is a privately held, founder-owned residential remodeling and general contracting firm headquartered at 206 Breckenridge Lane, Louisville, Kentucky. Founded in 2003 and operating as an 11-50 employee organization, the company serves homeowners throughout Louisville's east end with high-end residential construction services delivered by a full-service team comprising project managers, site superintendents, skilled laborers, and operations leadership. The firm holds Registered Remodeler status with the Building Industry Association of Greater Louisville, has been named "Remodeler of the Year" by that body, and has accumulated multiple Louisville and Kentucky Remodeling Awards.
The core offering is end-to-end residential remodeling delivered through a single integrated process: complimentary initial consultation, design and planning, detailed proposal, material selection, construction, and final walkthrough, with a dedicated project manager assigned to each engagement. Specialized service lines include kitchen remodeling, bathroom remodeling, whole-home renovations, home additions, exterior transformations, and interior renovations, all sold under one-time, project-based contracts with quote-based pricing that is not publicly disclosed. Marketing relies on a project portfolio website, segmented Houzz galleries, and active Instagram and Facebook accounts rather than paid acquisition channels, and sales are generated through direct phone inquiries, in-person consultations, and referrals.
Revenue is generated exclusively from one-time project contracts with individual homeowners; there is no subscription, licensing, or recurring revenue stream, no disclosed software or platform product, and no institutional, private equity, or parent-company ownership structure. There are no disclosed AI/ML capabilities, integrations, or proprietary technology assets, and the firm's competitive positioning rests on local brand reputation, craft credentials, and team tenure rather than on technology differentiation.
