Grace Kennedy Company Limited

What Grace Kennedy Company Limited does

Grace Kennedy Company Limited is a UK-based sole proprietorship (operated as "Medium Grace Kennedy") that delivers private psychic, clairvoyant, and medium readings to individual consumers, alongside professional celebrant services for weddings, funerals, naming ceremonies, and vow renewals. The practitioner — Grace Kennedy — has been working professionally since 1984 and has reportedly delivered more than 21,000 readings over her career, serving spiritualist churches and private clients across the UK, USA, and Australia.

Readings are sold as one-to-one sessions lasting 30–60 minutes and are delivered through three channels: in-person at a private garden studio in Canvey Island, Essex; Apple FaceTime video calls; and WhatsApp video messaging. Pricing is unit-based and geographically tiered — £50 per session for UK clients, USD $65 for US clients, and AUD $95 for Australian clients — with a complimentary audio recording delivered after each session. Celebrant services carry separate one-time fees starting at £185 for funerals and £350 for weddings, with naming ceremonies and vow renewals priced on application; gift vouchers are offered as an additional SKU. The underlying technology stack is intentionally minimal: Bookeo provides GDPR-compliant online booking and scheduling, Google Analytics supplies traffic analytics, and standard consumer video/voice apps handle delivery. No proprietary technology, mobile app, or AI/ML components support the service — the entire value proposition rests on the practitioner's personal expertise and reputation (4.9/5 across 250+ verified reviews).

Direct peers

• Keen: Long-running online psychic readings platform offering phone, chat, and video sessions across categories including mediumship and clairvoyant readings. Directly competes for the same consumer intent, particularly in the US market where Grace also serves clients.
• MysticSense: Online psychic readings platform offering chat, phone, and video sessions across spiritual, love, and career topics. Directly comparable in service format and customer intent to Grace's individual reading practice.
• Kasamba: Online platform offering on-demand psychic readings via chat, email, and video with thousands of practitioners. Directly comparable as a competing channel for one-to-one psychic readings, though Grace operates as a single practitioner rather than a marketplace.
• Psychic Source: Established online psychic readings service offering phone, video, and chat readings with vetted advisors. Comparable in targeting spiritual guidance and bereavement-related use cases similar to those Grace addresses.
• California Psychics: Online psychic readings platform emphasizing vetted, experienced psychics across phone, chat, and video. Comparable positioning around trusted, established practitioners — analogous to Grace's emphasis on long experience and credentials.
• Oranum: Live video psychic readings platform where customers interact face-to-face with psychics via webcam. Closest functional peer to Grace's FaceTime and WhatsApp video reading offering, with a similar live one-to-one video delivery model.
• Purple Garden: Mobile-first platform offering psychic, medium, and tarot readings via live video and chat. Comparable as a digital-native video psychic reading service targeting similar consumer use cases.

Broad incumbents

• Insight Timer: Large-scale meditation, spiritual, and wellbeing app with thousands of teachers and free/paid content. Comparable only at the broad spiritual-wellness category level rather than as a direct competitor to one-to-one readings.
• Sally Morgan: High-profile UK psychic medium with a celebrity television presence and large personal brand. Comparable as a UK-based individual psychic medium operating at much larger scale, though primarily as a public figure rather than active one-to-one practitioner.

Others

• The UK Society of Celebrants: UK professional body representing independent celebrants who officiate weddings, funerals, and other ceremonies. Directly comparable to Grace's celebrant services segment, serving as both a peer set and a potential referral network.
