Arktouros

What Arktouros does

Arktouros Ltd is a privately held, Glasgow-headquartered professional services firm specializing in Sitecore development, support, and upgrades. The company's core offering is end-to-end lifecycle management of Sitecore-based digital properties, delivered through three core services — Sitecore Development Services (implementation, customization, and feature development), Sitecore Support Services (one-time fixes and ongoing maintenance arrangements), and Sitecore Upgrade Services (migration to newer versions of the platform). Adjacent to this, it provides Enterprise Search Services (Solr, Azure Search, and Coveo implementation and performance tuning) and Custom Development Services for non-Sitecore web or application projects. Arktouros explicitly positions itself as a team-augmentation partner that supplements clients' in-house development teams during peak periods or for specialized projects.

Underlying technology is the Sitecore CMS platform and adjacent enterprise search stacks (Solr, Azure Search, Coveo); the firm describes its proprietary value as specialized platform knowledge rather than as productized IP or patents. The business model is project- and retainer-based professional services delivered via direct engagement with enterprise clients and agencies; pricing is not publicly disclosed and is described as quote-based and tailored to client requirements. The customer segment is horizontal at the enterprise level — large organizations and agencies requiring Sitecore expertise, ongoing maintenance, and supplementary development capacity — operating in a single geographic market, the United Kingdom. The firm reports 1-10 employees and was founded around 2010, with management identification limited to a single principal (Steve Bariahtaris).
