YogaRenew

What YogaRenew does

YogaRenew is a privately held, Yoga Alliance-accredited online yoga teacher training platform that delivers self-paced certification programs to individual consumers globally. Its core offerings are the 200HR, 300HR, and 500HR yoga teacher training programs, which qualify graduates for RYT-200 and RYT-500 registration with Yoga Alliance, complemented by a portfolio of specialty certifications in Yin, Restorative, Prenatal, Kids Yoga, Breathwork, Mindfulness, Mindful Eating, Yoga Anatomy, Philosophy, Vinyasa Sequencing, and Yoga Retreats. The platform serves aspiring yoga teachers seeking initial credentials, existing RYT-200 graduates pursuing continuing education (YACEP-eligible), and certified fitness professionals adding yoga to their service mix, with students enrolled from over 190 countries.

The technology stack is a Teachable-hosted LMS for course delivery integrated with Zoom for synchronous live sessions (30+ calls per week, a key differentiator versus the 1-2 calls/week industry norm), plus a mobile app on iOS and Android for on-demand classes, series, and workshops. Course content includes 100+ hours of supplemental video material, 12 free bonus resources per 200HR enrollment, and lifetime access with no graduation deadline. The company is recognized as the sole provider of the American Council on Exercise's (ACE) 200-hour yoga teacher certification and holds registered provider status with NASM and AFAA, lending multi-body institutional validation.

Revenue is generated primarily through one-time course licenses (200HR at $397 sale, 300HR at $447 sale, 500HR bundle at $599, specialty certs $97-$249) with interest-free payment plans, supplemented by a recurring app subscription model ($29-$69/month add-ons) and an affiliate referral stream via a BeYogi insurance partnership. Go-to-market is fully self-serve and product-led: organic SEO, social media (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok), press coverage, email lead magnets, and Yoga Alliance directory listings all funnel to direct website enrollment with a 30-day refund guarantee. The company has served over 100,000 students, holds 10,000+ five-star reviews, and additionally operates a physical studio across the river from Manhattan, NYC for hybrid and in-person intensives.
