We spent months building akta.pro in relative quiet. Yesterday we opened the doors. By the end of the day, you had voted it the number one product on Product Hunt.
Thank you. Two words feel small for what happened, but we mean them all the way.
For anyone landing here for the first time, akta.pro is a private company data and signals API, built for the way people and AI agents actually work now. 20 million companies. 75+ data points on each one. Over 100 real-time signals watching for funding rounds, hiring shifts, leadership changes, partnerships, and expansion. All the is noise stripped out of the news, so you see the events that move a decision and skip the ones that never mattered.
We built it because private markets data has been broken for a long time. Shallow profiles. No real entity resolution. Coverage that thins out the moment you step past the biggest names. Pricing that assumes a nine-figure budget and infinite patience. We wanted the opposite of all of it. Deeper data than PitchBook, wider coverage, clean resolution, and a bill that only reflects what you actually use.
That was our argument. Yesterday you settled it.
From our side of the screen, the day was equal parts thrilling and nerve-wracking. Refreshing the leaderboard stopped being productive somewhere around hour two and turned into a group activity. We are not going to pretend otherwise.
We read every comment. The maker who asked exactly where our headcount data comes from. The people already building agents on top of the API. The hunters who have watched this corner of the market for years and told us we got something right. We kept all of it. It is going straight into the roadmap.
None of this happens without a few groups of people.
To everyone who upvoted, commented, and shared: you handed a brand-new product its first real audience. To the design partners and early users who trusted us before there was a leaderboard to point at: you shaped what akta.pro is today. To the team who shipped this: thank you for the late nights and for the standards you refused to lower.
Number one is a great day. It was never the goal. The goal is to make private markets data something any builder can reach for without a procurement cycle or a quality compromise. Yesterday moved us closer. There is a lot more to build.
If you have not tried it yet, the playground is open and your first calls are free. Come put it through its paces, then tell us what you need next.
Thank you, from all of us at akta.pro.
