What Zzue Creation does
Zzue Creation is a Hong Kong-based luxury outdoor furniture retailer and multi-brand distributor, operating since 2006 from a flagship 600m² showroom at Horizon Plaza in Ap Lei Chau. The company imports products from Europe and the USA and represents over 50 international brands, including Dedon, Gandia Blasco, Barlow Tyrie, Ethimo, Talenti, RODA, Ratana, Emu, Vondom, and FireMagic, across an extensive product range covering outdoor sofas, chairs, tables, loungers, daybeds, shading structures, BBQ grills and outdoor kitchens, bioethanol fireplaces, outdoor lighting, artificial turf, pool equipment, and street furniture. Core catalog depth is substantial — for example, Talenti alone accounts for 288 SKUs, Ratana 254, RODA 176, and Emu 159 — giving the business a breadth that single-brand competitors cannot match.
The company operates a hybrid go-to-market model that combines a physical showroom experience with a contract sales team (including an in-house Landscape Designer) serving hospitality and real estate development clients, an e-commerce storefront (zzuecreation.com) supporting seven currencies and multiple payment methods, site-visit commissioning services (with a $2,000 refundable fee), and one-stop delivery and installation. Products range from entry-level items around $52 to premium pieces up to $24,437, with many high-end and custom items sold on a quote basis. Zzue Creation's customer base spans residential homeowners (primary), restaurants and mid-market commercial buyers, and enterprise clients in hospitality and real estate development. The business is privately held, founder/owner-operated under Managing Director Alan Chiu, with no disclosed funding rounds, parent company, or institutional investment. The company won Home Journal's Best Outdoor Furniture award in 2022. There is no proprietary technology platform; the underlying infrastructure is a standard e-commerce storefront with no AI, ML, or data-driven differentiation.
